Sony Releases Selfie-focused Xperia C3 Smartphone

Sony just unveiled a new Android smartphone Xperia C3 and called this "world's best selfie smartphone" and that is because of the features it sports on its front and rear facing cameras. The C3's front camera is pegged at 5MP which boasts a wide angle sensor which has about 80 degrees of field of view, a "soft" LED Flash (that's new) and of course a dedicated selfie apps that has tons of features to help our selfie pics stand out in the selfie-verse.

There is also this Superior Auto Mode which auto-adjusts the lighting conditions before the photo is captured. AR Effect is another selfie feature in the device that allows users to add graphics and animation to their images and videos. Portrait Retouch gives makeover selections such as beauty styles, eye patterns and frame options to users' images before they share it to the social media sites. I also like the idea of the Timeshift Burst feature where it captures 31 shots or frames of photos in just two seconds, then you can just select the best one for you.

Even if we set aside those camera features and what they can do, still this Xperia C3 device sports a very decent specs. It has a 5.5-inch HD 720p IPS Display and under the hood is a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor with 1GB of RAM. Right out of the box comes an 8GB internal device which supports microSD card up to 32GB. And it is already powered by an Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. The battery is also very attractive with 2,500mAh size.
