Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2 Introduced With Octa-core Processor and Stylus Pen

Alcatel just announced a new smartphone device featuring a Full HD Display with Dragontrail Glass and Octa-core processor at the IFA in Berlin, the company introduced the OneTouch Hero 2.  It's a full 6-inch device and its bezels are extremely thin and that is what I really like in device. Its 1920x1080 resolution with 367ppi, it will definitely provide the best viewing experience. Plus it is a stylus-equipped phablet which is optimized handwriting recognition.

To provide a more premium look and feel, the Hero 2 is encased in an aluminum frame. And it's still light and thin even though it sports a huge screen and metal shell, only weights 170g and as thin as 7.9mm. Powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek MT6592 Octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM. For storage there is a 16GB onboard space and can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. The cameras are also quite big here with back one at 13MP and a front one at 5MP lenses. And of course the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat mobile OS.

All is supported by a 3100mAh battery which the company claims can last up to 380 hours on stand-by mode and up to 10 hours of talk time over 3G network and 4.5 hours on 4G. And then there are the usual connectivity functionalities onboard such as WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB 2.0 and LTE.

The Alcatel OneTouch Here 2 will start selling in Europe by the end of the month for €350.
