Alcatel OnTouch Hero 8 Tablet Unveiled

In addition to the OneTouch Hero 2 smartphone, Alcatel also unveiled the OneTouch Hero 8 device an Android 4.4.2 Kitkat powered tablet.  The two Hero devices have a lot of similarities especially in specs section. For example both of the devices share the same octa-core processor made by MediaTek. It is even thinner than the smartphone counterpart with only having a 7.3mm thinness plus the 310g of weight, making the slate “one of the slimmest and lightest tablets on the market.” It has aluminum frame too.

The OneTouch Hero 8 like what the number in its name says is an 8 incher device with Full HD display or 1920x1200 pixel resolution. 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage are also part of the offering. Users can also have a microSD card on the slate up to 32GB.

Some of the great things about this Hero 8 is that it is Miracast-certified which means users can transmit video or audio files from the tablet to TV or monitor screens without the help of routers or wires. TV Mate is also another feature where it turns the tablet into a universal remote control, sounds cool right? Via bluetooth users can also connect this device to a smartphone and make/receive calls through it.
