Blackberry Porsche Design P'9983 Now Official

We have seen and read too much news about the new iPhones and new Galaxy Notes to the point that we almost have forgotten that Blackberry still exists. Yes it does, in fact the Canadian company just announced a new smartphone from their porfolio and it is called the Blackberry Porsche Design P'9983.  It's a slightly modified and re-skinned Blackberry Q10 smartphone.

Common to Blackberry devices is the physical QWERTY keypad, and this feature is also found on this P'9983 smartphone together with its 3.1-inch touchscreen display that sports a 720x720 resolution. Under the hood are the 1.5GHz Quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB of RAM. There is a 64GB internal storage and users can still expand it via microSD card up to 128GB. And for its cameras, on the back is an 8MP lens while the front one sports a 2MP snapper. The rear camera is covered by a sapphire glass so having it scratched or broken is not going to be a problem.

The Blackberry Porsche Design P'9983 also supports LTE technology and it comes with 3G connectivity as well, supports NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. Inside the box are an international charging kit, premium stereo headset, polishing cloth and a USB cable for faster data transfer requirements. Pricing for this smartphone was not announced but starting next month users can buy this from Porsche Design stores and select carriers around the globe.
