Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 LTE is Now Official

Samsung has quietly announced the Galaxy Mega 2 LTE phablet sporting a massive 6 inches of screen display with not-so-large 1280x720 resolution. Many preferred this big to sport a much higher resolution such as 1080p and that includes me, but I think 720p is perfectly okay. Powering the device is Samsung's own chip the Exynos 4415 which is a quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

There is a 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which supports microSD card up to another 64GB. Software wise the Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 LTE sports the latest Android Kitkat mobile operating system with version 4.4.4. On the back sits an 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash paired with a 2.1MP front facing camera. The device's name suggests it now supports LTE connectivity and this is another thing I like this smartphone. WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, and GLONASS are the usual connectivity options available in the Mega 2 LTE.

All its juice will be coming from the 2,800mAh battery size. No mention if it's removable or not.

The device were first spotted on Samsung's Thai website.
