Google Nexus 6 Smartphone Features Quad-HD and Android 5.0 Lollipop OS

Without a press event, Google has finally announced the newest Nexus smartphone sporting specs and features that want to compete head to head with the likes of Galaxy Note 4, iPhone 6 and LG G3 devices.  Motorola-made Nexus 6 phablet is now official. Yes that is right, this year's Nexus device is manufactured by Motorola compared to last year's LG Nexus 5 and the physical design will really let us feel that this is a Motorola phone through its curved backing, aluminum metal trimmed casing and of course the dimpled Motorola logo that sits on the back. Also at the same time will let us feel that this is a Google smartphone through the taste of its newly confirmed Android 5.0 Lollipop OS running on the handset.

It's the biggest Nexus smartphone coming from Google so far with its 5.9-inch QuadHD display, that boasts a total resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. The same resolution found on Note 4 and LG G3. Pixels per inch is equivalent to 493, this device should provide a super vivid, bright and clear display even though it has a massive display. The whole screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 plus on its front panel sits the grilled dual speakers just like on Moto X.

The Nexus 6 is powered a 2.7GHz dual-core processor by Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 and that is also a pretty powerful chip on devices today and paired with an even bigger 3GB of RAM. For internal storage options, there would be a 32GB or a 64GB option. There are no words if the device will support microSD card, but it looks like it won't be. Also on the back side is a 13MP camera with image stabilization feature to help users with their photos less shaky when captured. The rear camera is also equipped with a f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash and then on the front side is a 2MP lens, which I think is a little small for a device like this.

The usual connectivity options are also on board and that includes LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and many others. Inside the back panel is a 3,220mAh battery which can be charged wirelessly and is with a Turbo Charger technology that Google said can charge back up to 6 hours of the life in just 15 minutes.
