Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, An Android Tablet With Built-in Projector

Lenovo is back with several new Yoga devices and one of those is the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro and it is a  very unique Android-powered slate, that's because this one has a built-in 16:9 pico projector that can beam images and videos to any flat surface up to 50 inches diagonally. If you do not feel using the projector, you can turn to its 13.3" Quad HD display which is capable of providing you a 2560x1440 resolution. Together with the projector is a built-in 8-watt sound system with a JBL subwoofer front and back.

The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is powered by a fourth generation quad-core Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM to handle multitasking requirements and an internal storage of 32GB right out of the box. It also supports microSD card up to 64GB. The projector lens is located at one end of the round kickstand that serves to give users a better grip of the slate and a stand for better viewing experience.

When it comes to cameras, there are an 8MP rear facing lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 1.6MP front facing snapper.  It is a massive tablet at 13.3 inches and it's a quite heavy one as well weighing 950 grams which is very close to one kilo, so carrying it around for a long period can make your hand a bit tired. It is powered by the latest Android 4.4 Kitkat OS but expect Lenovo to add their own flavor to it just like what many manufacturers do on their Android devices.

Lenovo did not mention the exact size of the battery powering the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro but promised the device to last up to 15 hours of usage on a single battery charge and up to 3 hours when using the projector alone. This tablet will be released in the US later this month with a price tag of $499.99.
