List of Smartphones to Get Android 5.0 Lollipop Update Soon

Google initially announced the Android L back in June and then it was officially unveiled last week together with the Motorola-made Nexus 6 and HTC-made Nexus 9 and its official name is Android 5.0 Lollipop. Almost as soon as it was revealed, a number of smartphone manufacturers have already released details which of their already-released devices are going to get the Lollipop update very soon. If you own any Google Play Edition smartphones or Nexus devices, as promised these devices will also get the update ahead of the non-Google Play Edition devices. To know if your smartphone is included in the first batch of devices to get the update, check the list below.

HTC promises to deliver the Lollipop update to these two smartphones within 90 days from the time they receive the official and final software from Google. HTC One Mini and and One Mini 2 will also get the update but no definite date yet, more HTC phones to follow soon.

So far those are the confirmed companies to released Android 5.0 Lollipop updates to the mentioned smartphones. Other big and small manufacturers are also expected to release their own such as Samsung, LG and other Android One devices but there are no official announcement yet.
