Rovio's Got a New Mobile Game For Us, Called RETRY

This is the first time I heard a game from Rovio which does not have anything to do with the highly successful Angry Birds game series as the Finland-based company just released its newest mobile game called Retry under its LVL11 an experimental game publishing arm this time, this time the main star of the game is an 8-bit airplane. Rovio describes the airplane as "“a smoking, loop-the-looping, out of control, 8-bit jalopy of an airplane.”.

Retry was in soft-launch mode for almost half a year in the countries of  Canada, Finland and Poland, but starting today is available for all. So how is it played? Remember Flappy Bird and Swing Copters? The idea is basically the same where you control a flying object, in this case is an airplane, via tapping the screen to keep it flying and moving forward and to keep it from touching any surface or else you fail. But unlike Dong Nguyen's (Flappy Bird and Swing Copters creator) games which are just endless flying, Retry is stage and mission based and as you fly through the stages and courses you collect coins. To see how the game is played, see the video below released by Rovio.

This Retry game is free-to-play mobile game app and can now be downloaded from the AppStore and Google Play for both iOS and Android devices. I have already tried plying the game on my Android smartphone and I am telling you it is still as challenging and frustrating as the Flappy Bird and Swing Copters and yet I enjoy it.
