Octa-core Powered Lenovo Vibe X2 Coming to the Philippines this November

Just today, Lenovo Philippines held an event officially announcing the Philippine launch of the Lenovo Vibe X2 smartphone with a price tag of only Php18,999.  That may sound  a bit expensive for some but what the device is offering is more than what they can get from competitors with the same pricing. It's a 4G LTE ready smartphone, full HD display (1920x1080 resolution) with 5-inch screen and it is powered by an octa-core processor powered by MediaTek's MT6595m SoC.

The Vibe X2 is the first smartphone to sport multi-layed color design on its sides featuring three different colors. It is also very slim at only 7.27mm thick. Users who love taking pictures and selfies will be much happier to know that Lenovo equipped the Vibe X2 with 13MP rear camera. This back shooter features a BSI or Backside Illumination technology that helps the camera to perform better even in low-light condition environment, autofocus and LED flash are also aboard. The front facing camera is pegged at 5MP with wide-angle lens to help photo taking capture more background. Plus this secondary snapper is activated with auto-shutter mechanism which will work by just simply blinking or smiling at the camera.

The turn off I see on this smartphone is the lack of microSD support for additional storage space in case the 32GB default storage is not enough. Also users who are switching or upgrading phones won't be able to use their existing external storage.
