CloudFone Ice 353e is the Most Affordable Android Kitkat Smartphone

"The most affordable Android Kitkat smartphone," at least what CloudFone is claiming about their new budget-friendly smartphone offering called the Ice 353e. There are already a lot super affordable Android Kitkat smartphones around especially this year that I have actually lost track of them, thanks to the competition as we get more options for our hard-earned money.

CloudFone is a bit busy this week releasing a couple smartphone both budget-oriented and flagship level smartphones. The CloudFone Thrill 600FHD is the company's latest flagship device announced just last week featuring full HD display and octa-core processor. Now going back to the Ice 353e, it's a pretty basic smartphone you can expect for a price of Php1,499 yet is powered by an Android 4.4 Kitkat which is optimized to work smoother than any other previous Android OS even on a low-spec'd devices.

The CloudFone Ice 353e has 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1.0GHz single-core processor, 256MB RAM and 512MB internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for additional memory. For the camera there are 2MP and VGA shooter combination. For connectivity there are WiFi and Bluetooth support and 2G/EDGE data connectivity as well. Dual-SIM and Dual-Standby are also on board. Now 2G/EDGE may sound a nightmare to you when you connect to the internet using this kind of technology, but hey it is only for Php1,499. But if you still want a 3G connection available, you may try to see Torque DROIDZ Sky 3G which has almost the same set of specs with the inclusion of 3G support and it will cost you additional Php300.
