Gresso Regal Black Edition Premium Smartphones Yours Starting at $3,000

The Swiss luxury company Gresso has announced a new line of premium smartphones that are adored with titanium (grade 5 strong but light) and gold. Meet the Gresso Regal Black Editions with a hefty starting price tag of $3,000. The phones' blackness is obtained through what process they call PVD coating, the same technology they apply for making Swiss swatches.

The Gresso Regal Black devices will be sold in three different selections. The first one is named R1 which sports an all-titanium frame for $3,000, the second options is R2 where the body is made of titanium with PVD coating and a bit of 18-karat white gold and then the third variant is an R3 which has the same titanium body and PVD coating but with an 18-karat white gold. Both R2 and R3 will be sold for $5,000 a piece. All three share the same specs. If you wanna buy one you better hurry up as there are only 999 units will be sold and all of these are manually made by a single craftsman. You can now head to the Gresso website and buy one, or more.

Aside from the looks and luxury the Regal Black editions offer specs that are more acceptable and more powerful than the other premium smartphones we see around. There is going to be a 5-inch Full HD display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and powered by an undisclosed 1.5GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. 32GB internal storage, it's not mentioned if microSD card is supported for extra space. The cameras are pegged at 13MP and 5MP back and front respectively.

The smartphone is a bit thick at 8.8mm but Gresso claims that this is the thinnest premium or luxury smartphone to date. And since the Regal Black is that thick I expect a bigger  battery size however it was not revealed how big the actual battery is but instead said that it should be able to last up to 6 hours of talktime and up to 300 hours on standby mode.   One big downer though on this device is the lack of LTE support.
