HP Introduces 4K, 5K and Curved Monitors at CES 2015

At CES 2015 in Las Vegas Nevada, HP just unveiled new monitors that include Curved, 4K and 5K display models.  High resolution displays are now becoming a big deal not just only on smartphones and tablets but also on monitors and HP wants to give users more options depending on their desire and need. Two 4K models, a 5K and a wide curved monitors have just been made official at the said annual event. 

 The above image shows the HP Z27q and that is the 5K (5120x2880) model which sports a 27-inch display, 16:9 aspect ratio and 218 pixels per inch or PPI. The company says there are four USB 3.0 ports on this model. Other ports and connectivity features were not mentioned by HP. Anyone who would like to buy this particular model will need $1,299 out of their pocket.

Next in line are going to be available in 27-inch and 23.8-inch versions that come with 4K resolution. The bigger display is called Z27s while the smaller one has model name Z24s and both sport 16:9 aspect ratio with 163ppi and 185ppi pixel densities respectively. HP said each variant has fours USB 3.0 ports, HDMI and mini display port. The HP Z24s will be released in April for $549 and the HP Z27s will be later this month with $749 price tag.  

The very first image above this post is the curved display one as you can see in the photo and it is called HP Z34c which the name suggests sports a 34-inch display and resolution of 3440x1440. There is 21:9 aspect ratio on this one and on the two sides of the screen are built-in speakers. This will come out in April with $999 asking price.
