Oppo U3 with 4X Optical Zoom to be Launched on January 14

Oppo U3 smartphone is now official and is said to be launched on January 14 according to GizChina website.  The device sports a massive 5.9" Full HD IPS Display powered by an octa-core processor from MEdiaTek clocked at 1.7GHz and a 2GB of RAM.

One of the most notable features we can find on the Oppo U3 is the rear camera which comes in with 13MP resolution and is equipped with 4X Optical Zoom feature, something we don't normally see in most smartphones up to this date, although there is also a newest smartphone from Asus that also sports an Optical Zoom functionality still not so many selections to choose from. On the front sits a 5MP camera with its own LED flash, so good selfie pics are guaranteed even in dark environment. Also note that the back camera is capable of recording 4k videos.

By default the Oppo U3 will have 16GB of internal storage which is of course can be expanded via microSD card, up to how much? We don't know yet. Also for excellent audio output Oppo included a dedicated AK4961 24-bit DAC manufactured by Asahi Kasei, for music lovers this is definitely something to look forward to on this U3 smartphone.

As you can see below, some of the key specs are still missing. We'll know more about them on the launching date which is going to be on January 14, so stay tuned.
