Meet this Young Japanese Street Food Vendor in Cebu

His name is Go Morita a young Japanese street food vendor on the streets of Cebu IT Park. Morita is a native of Osaka Japan and is a graduate of Masters Degree in Business Administration in Tokyo. He is becoming famous for his self-prepared Japanese food he sells for a very affordable price, Japanese Rice Balls and Tonkatsu Sandwich.

Morita's story first reported on Cebu Daily News. According to the local news outlet, Morita plans to put up his own food business in Cebu and that this is just the beginning of his plan. After graduating from his home country he traveled to China, Malaysia and Cambodia to find the perfect spot for his shop, and Cebu is where he decided to start.

“I have named it after my last name Go and added Tokyo to it to show customers that it’s genuine Japanese fare, After selling my rice balls and tonkatsus, I buy some ingredients in the supermarket for my products the next day,” Go Morita told Cebu Daily News via online chat interview.
Go Morita even put up his own Facebook Page and named it Go Go Tokyo!! He uses the page to update customers as to when he finishes cooking the food he sells and when he arrives at his location in Cebu. As of writing his page has already achieved more than 8,000 likes.
