Kata M3 Smartphone with 5.5" HD, Octa-core Chip and 2GB RAM Coming Soon
Kata Philippines has announced via its Facebook page that they will "soon" offer the upcoming Kata M3 smartphone that sports 5.5-inch HD display, 1.7GHz octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB expandable storage and 16MP/8MP camera combination.
Pricing is yet to be announced and hopefully it is very affordable. Specs wise, M3 offers mid-range levels especially if we compare it with the current trends in both Android tablets and smartphones from other competitors local or international. But still very attractive even if there's no LTE support.
Aside from the mentioned features above, the Kata M3 is also equipped with dual-SIM functionality that supports HSPA+ and 3G network. The rear camera with 16MP resolution is with autofocus technology and its lens is covered with Gorilla Glass, but the screen display is not. Running the device is an Android 4.4 Kitkat and on the back sits a 3,300mAh battery pack which Kata claims to last up to 15 hours of talktime and up to 480 hours of standby time on a single SIM function.
