Nokia 215 Dual-SIM Now in the Philippines for Php1,850


Microsoft Lumia Philippines via Facebook announced the Philippine availability of the Nokia 215 Dual SIM feature phone. This is the first feature phone that was officially released after Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia. Anyone can now buy the said phone at any Nokia store in the country for only Php1,850.


Like what the name suggests, the Nokia 215 supports dual SIM functionality and like many other smartphones around that have dual sim slots, it can run both SIM cards network at the same time. This is one of the good features found on this cell phone and it compliments all apps that come pre-installed with the device like Facebook, Messenger, Twitter, Bing Search, MSN Weather and the Opera Mini Browser. Users can switch which networks' data connectivity is better whenever they need to, you know both Smart and Globe offer free internet access.

Inside the handset sits a 1,100mAh battery. That sounds small for us compared to today's smartphones but this is a feature phone and Microsoft claims this can to last up to 20 hours of talktime and 21 days of standby mode. This also has a built-in MP3 player, songs can be stored via microSD card up to 32GB and the company also claims that it has MP3 playback time of up to 50 hours on single charge.
