Cherry Mobile Cosmos S2 is Octa-core, Android Lollipop and AMOLED Display Equipped

Cherry Mobile Cosmos S2 is one of the smartphones that was recently leaked online via Cherry Mobile promotional flyers showing current and upcoming smartphone offerings. This Cosmos S2 is definitely one of those devices that got tech fanatics' attention because of the specs attached to it and the price tag.

Based on the image above, the Cherry Mobile Cosmos S2 will featurevery competitive specs like the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, 5-inch HD AMOLED Display, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera with BSI, 2GB RAM paired with 16GB internal storage and many others.

Once this device is official, this will be the second non-Android One smartphone to be released powered by an Android 5.0 Lollipop following MyPhone Rio 2 and the first local-branded device to sport an AMOLED display unless I am missing something. For the price of just Php9,999 this is already a steal by default when we compare that asking price to the specs that it offers. Not only that, the Cosmos S2 doesn't just support two SIM card functionality but also dual LTE connectivity. See other specs below.

Since this is not official yet from Cherry Mobile and we are only basing our reports on the leaked promotional flyers, we cannot believe all of this unless Cherry Mobile says they are real. But if we look back at the previous same events from Cherry Mobile where pamphlets were leaked ahead of the smartphones' official announcement, we are looking at real devices that are just waiting to be unveiled.
