Xiaomi Mi Pad Arriving in the Philippines, Price Announced

The good news is Xiaomi Redmi 2 is not the only new device coming to the Philippines market, the Chinese tech company also announced that the Mi Pad Android tablet is also launching in the country very soon. The price has even been released, according to the Xiaomi's Philippine website the Mi Pad will cost users Php10,999.

Just like the Redmi 2 only the suggested retail price was unveiled on the website but not as to when the slate itself will be released. But now that they have already listed it on their PH site it is most likely that the launch date is not that far away.

There are a lot of things many users are looking forward to having the Mi Pad, of course one of those is the design which is very similar to the iPad tablet but with Android 4.4 Kitkat OS on top of Xiaomi's own MIUI running it. The display it what I call "more than full HD but not Quad HD yet" as the 7.9-inch IPS display sports an eye-popping 2048 x 1536 resolution and 326ppi protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layering.

The other most appealing features of the tablet is what powers it in terms of performance, inside it is a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, an NVIDIA Tegra K1 chip accompanied by a 192-core GPU also by NVIDIA and the 2GB of RAM. This should perform above average tablet in speed and in quality of the graphics (apart from the high resolution display). This device is made with on-the-go gamers in mind, that where NVIDIA processors are known for. See rest of specs below.
