Announced through their Facebook page, the Xiaomi Redmi 2 will be available for purchase in the country starting on April 28, 2015 at exactly 12nn via its online store partner Lazada PH or through its own website at mi.com/ph.

The official and suggested retail price for the Xiaomi Redmi 2 is Php5,999 and it was first announced on April 15 via the company's Philippine website.
