Dual-Boot CloudFone Epic 8.9 and 7.1 Tablets Are Now Official

Have you ever desired to own a device that is capable of running more than one operating system? Good news is CloudFone, one of the local electronics brands in the Philippines, has officially released two of its new tablets equipped with dual-boot technology, the Epic 8.9 and Epic 7.1 devices.

The two slates are equipped with Android 4.4 Kitkat and Windows 8.1 and this is the first in the country from a local player. This means that users will have the ability to take their personal Android apps and work related files (via Office 365 access) with them using these two Epic tablets while on the go.

Both devices, aside from the software, also share the following specs, 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, 32GB internal storage, USB OTG support and 5MP + 2MP camera combination. They part on the screen size and resolution as what their names suggest, Epic 8.1 has twice the RAM as the Epic 7.1 and of course is much more affordable than the bigger sibling. We just do not know yet if the tablets support microSD card for memory expansion and how big each of their batteries are. I am asking CloudFone to provide additional details on those if possible, no reply yet but I will definitely update this post once I do.

The image above shows the Epic 8.7 is for Php8,999 while the Epic 7.1 is for Php5,999, but according to MynaRoman.com, the two device just got discounted for only Php7,999 and Php4,999 respectively.
