Starmobile Knight Luxe Offers Octa-core and HD AMOLED Display for Less than Php8k

Starmobile is here again adding another brand new competitive member of the Knight series where "elegance and performance rolled into one amazing device", now officially launched, the Starmobile Knight Luxe. It is  a mid-range device that is now available at any Starmobile kiosks and concept stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of Php7,690.

Starmobile took time and effort to stuff the Knight Luxe with HD (1280 x 720 resolution) AMOLED display which measures at 5" across the front panel. The AMOLED technology which is mostly seen on many of Samsung's high end smartphones makes the display to provide more rich and more detailed color. Another Samsung technology featured on this smartphone is located on the rear side of the device, that's the 13MP main camera powered by Samsung ISOCELL sensor promises to provide unparalleled and stunning image quality, this is also the enhanced version of Backside Illumination technology according to Starmobile. That being said, this phone's back camera should work better than those BSI-powered devices in low-light environment, indoor or outdoor.

Design wise, the Starmobile Knight Luxe sports sleek, slim and light profile. According to FilipinoTechAddict blog when they had a quick hands on with the smartphone, they felt how premium this phone is and that is due to the light weight, due to its 6.85mm profile configration and due to the frame that is made of metal, something we don't normally see on a smartphone with this price tag.

Inside the Knight Luxe sits a 1.4GHz eight-core processor from MediaTek partnered with a 2GB of RAM so users won't be having problems when it comes to navigating and operating the device and also to support their multitasking needs without a delay. Right out of the box is a 16GB default storage which still expandable via microSD card up to another 32GB. Unfortunately the smartphone does not run on the latest Android Lollipop and there is also no LTE support, but that's not actually a big deal for the price. Instead Starmobile decided to use an Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and equipped it with dual-SIM capability which both slots can run on 3G network on at the same time. See more specs below.
