Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Tablets Now Official

Following the recent leaks, the Korean tech giant Samsung has officially announced their new flagship tablet called Galaxy Tab S2. This  slates, like first iterations last year, will come in two variants and sizes. There will be 8-inch and 9.7-inch screen sizes which both sport Quad-HD resolution and 4:3 aspect ration. Also an LTE and WiFi Only separate options will be implemented.

Samsung claims that the Galaxy Tab S2 are the "thinnest and lightest tablet of its size ever," sporting 5.6mm thinness and weights of 265g and 389g for 8-inch and 9.7-inch versions respectively.

"The tablet also also presents deeper contrast and more precise detail to provide best-in-class reading experience with the Super AMOLED display delivering 94% of natural tones to show true-to-life colors. Users can now enjoy galleries of vividly detailed photos and effortlessly shop online while viewing the most accurate images on Galaxy Tab S2, " Samsung said. " Adaptive Display intelligently adjusts gamma, saturation and sharpness based on the application, the color temperature of the viewing environment and ambient lighting. Also Reading Mode modifies the screen's brightness level to help users to read content for longer period of time without straining their eyes." Samsung added. 
The two tablets share most of the specs from resolution, processors, camera down to the operating system of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and Fingerprint scanner. Since they come in two different screen sizes, the battery also come in two sizes 4,000mAh for the 8-incher and 5,870mAh for the bigger sibling.

Samsung said global market release will be in August. Prices will be announced locally.
