Unannounced Cherry Mobile Omega 4G Shows up Online

I believe this particular smartphone has already been teased by Cherry Mobile on their Instagram account a few days back and I never heard anything since then or until now. The yet-to-be-announced Cherry Mobile Omega 4G has just leaked online via a Facebook user Alexander Tan. That user's profile is private but he is the source according to a post on Unbox.ph.

The photos, as you can see here, are very clear showing the Omega 4G's front and back panels as well as some key specs the device will soon offer. Unbox people also added that this device offers LTE connectivity support and is also expected to be retailed for Php5,999. For this price tag, the HD display down to dual-SIM capability are very acceptable except for the battery size which the image clearly says 2,000mAh.

Cherry Mobile Omega 4G specs:

- 5" HD IPS display
- 1280 x 720 resolution
- 1.0GHz quad-core 64-bit MT6735 processor
- 16GB internal storage
- 13MP rear camera
- 5MP front camera
- Android 5.1 Lollipop
- WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS
- 3G, LTE
- Dual-SIM
- 2,000mAh battery
- Php5,999

As per specs above, it is not confirmed yet if the phone will support microSD card for memory expansion, but I think most likely it does. Now that it has leaked, we can expect Cherry Mobile to formally introduce this device in the coming days, so watch out for it.
