Yamaha Philippines at the Partakan Festival and National Technicians Grand Prix

Yamaha Shares Riding Ingenuity at the Partakan Festival

Yamaha Motor Philippines has continued to drive the love for motorcycles around the country by making sure that every Filipino gets the opportunity to experience being "Revved". For 3 days, locals were engaged in different activities that made them more familiar with the brand such as the Amazing ride challenge. As one of the sponsors of the race, the 61 participants that registered with a Yamaha Motorcycle were given special items and one of the winners of the race was an FZ rider who received a prize from Yamaha.

There was also the Yamaha Racing Clinic for kids. The Clinic gives the future riders their first taste of what it's like to be on a motorcycle. This grass root program intends to give children the best fundamentals with educational training in a fun atmosphere. The clinic is conducted by Yamaha's certified instructors from the motorsports division that make sure the kids are safe while giving them an additional bonding experience with their parents. A trail ride got the adults their own brand of fun with the trail ride using the XTZ 125 and the Serow 250.

Yamaha also supported an activity off the roads in a beach volleyball competition with a total of 10 participating teams with 8 being formed by Yamaha Club groups. The event was a partnership with Ropali that had a special program lined up for the evening. The Yamaha segment featured a dance performance from the "Hot Movers". That wasn't the only exciting part; raffle winner Adeline Arorita who won an XTZ 125 last year continued her lucky streak by winning an RS110F.

The continuous showcase by Yamaha around the country is a testament to the passion of sharing the joy of riding.  The brand will continue to be part of celebrations such as these across the country and the philosophy or Revs your Heart is slowly and surely becoming a household saying.

A Champion is Crowned at Yamaha's National Technician Grand Prix

In the midst of Yamaha's Grand Launch of the Rev Hall in the 10th IR Bikefest was also a fiery competition between the brand's best technicians. Demonstrating their technical knowledge and skill in a high-level competition, the contest also aims to recognize their contribution, raise their proficiency, and motivate them to achieve.

For the top 10 finalists, they had to show all their skill to make it to the top. They are...
  •  Noel Bigay - Motorcentral Tungkong Manga
  • Conrado Bucar - Des Marketing Mandaue
  • Leo Dumalag - CDO2 Cycles Cagayan de Oro
  • Ronnel Gallardo - New Nemar Nasugbu

  • Willie Jone Hilario - Des Marketing Kalibu
  • Arpee Obina - Superbikes Rosario

They would go through a Customer Handling test which showcased their ability to turnover a unit to the customer after a repair. This is done to see their ability to properly and courteously tend to the customer. The Practical Test will be motorcycle shooting repair, a test of their overall knowledge and skill.

When the battle was over, only three remained. Arpee Obina placed third, Conrado Bucar finished second, and Ramel Realin was declared the Champion. All three received a Yamaha Tricity and Gift Apparel. The 1st Placer, Realin, is the country's representative for the Philippines in the 2016 World Technician Grand Prix in Japan. There he will meet the champions from all over the world and will carry the banner of excellence of the country.

Soon, we will know how he fared but no matter the outcome a country will still be proud of having him as an ambassador alongside the best in the world.
