I Unboxed the SmartBro 4G Pocket WiFi

A couple of days back, I got my own and very first pocket wifi device from Smart through their SmartBro 888 Caravan here in Davao city. You are most likely already aware that Smart is currently offering this device at a very affordable price of just Php888, that's from the original price of about Php1,500.

Furthermore, on top of heavily discounting this prepaid kit, Smart is also throwing in 350MB of FREE data every month for three months right out of the box. What's more exciting is these data are free upfront which means you do not need to meet any minimum load requirement to get it.

So I got my unit and I unboxed it to share to you what's in the box of this Smart Bro 4G Pocket WiFi. The unit comes with an LTE-ready SIM card that is already available in three cuts (regular, micro and nano), but the pocket wifi itselft supports regular sized SIM card. In case you wonder, this particular pocket wifi unit is a ZTE MF65M model. While the provided SIM is capable of supporting LTE connectivity, this Smart 4G Pocket WiFi is not, but it can provide users download speed of up to 12Mbps and can be shared with up to 10 devices at once.

Battery wise, the 4G Pocket WiFi comes with a removable 1500mAh battery of its own and of course a USB cable for charging the device and for file transfer purposes. Yes, for file transfer as well, as it also supports microSD card for additional storage just like most broadband sticks around.

Please take note that the Php888 + free 350MB data promo is only offered until June 30, 2016. So you better hurry in getting one while the promo and stocks last.

Please watch below my unboxing video for the Smart 4G Pocket WiFi. Kindly take note that when I recorded this video, I was originally planning to include some speed test with my Android smartphone as soon as I turn on the device but unfortunately Smart was having a system upgrade within our area here in Davao making the connection speed very unsatisfying. Don't worry, I will just update this post with images showing you the speed test results within this city of Davao in the very near future.
