First to Run Android 7.0 Nougat Out of the Box is the LG V20

LG V10

In case you don't know yet, Android 7.0 Nougat is the newest generation of mobile operating system to be released later this year by Google. And while we don't know yet which smartphones of which brands are to first sport this latest OS, LG has already went ahead and confirmed that the upcoming LG V20 is their first device to have Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.

The announcement was made in Korean in one of their websites and unfortunately there was no image of the phone nor concept photos were attached with the press release. Except for the fact that the LG V10 follow up will run Android 7.0 Nougat when officially shipped sometime in September.

Now this might be a little confusing as usually its Google's Nexus line of smartphones are really first to get the newest Android before anyone else. However, this might be true as well since the Android N preview version was released to developers earlier than normal. Whatever the real case is, only one thing is for sure, and that's Android 7.0 Nougat will be available to the public at least this September.

Furthermore, Google has not confirmed yet when the Android 7.0 Nougat will be officially launched. But if unconfirmed reports are to be believed, we can expect it this month of August.
