Vivo V5 Plus with Dual Front Camera to be Launched This Week

A follow up to last year's Vivo V5, called the Vivo V5 Plus, is apparently just around the corner. In fact it is already scheduled to be officially launched later this week. A listing at a Malaysian website called DirectD confirmed this even further as it now accepts pre-orders for the said device with price tag of RM 1,799 or about Php20,000 when converted. However, in spite of all these details so far and how close we are now to the announcement date, the information and specs about this smartphone is still very limited. And if rumors are to be believed, this sounds to be a more interesting one than its predecessor.

One of the most interesting features this Vivo V5 Plus is going to offer, which is also specified on the DirectD listing - a dual selfie camera. If you though the Vivo V5's 20MP front facing camera was already insane, wait for the Vivo V5 Plus as it is going to sport two camera shooters on the front panel, one with 20MP with Sony IMX376 and another with 8MP.

While we will know all the details on this Vivo V5 Plus at the launch, rumors suggest that the phone will have the same 5.5-inch screen and instead of a regular HD resolution, may are are expecting it to have a full HD display. On the inside, it is said that the Vivo V5 Plus will an octa-core processor partnered with 4GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage.

Local tech bloggers such as YugaTech and TechPtarl are confirming that Vivo PH will also officially launch the Vivo V5 Plus in the Philippines on January 21st and it's going to be a public event to be held at SM Mall of Asia where KZ Tandigan is to perform.
