Get Ready, the Classic Nokia 3310 is Resurrecting

If there is one thing I am most excited about the upcoming Mobile World Congress this year, it's the official announcement of new Nokia smartphones (yes with an S) that HMD Global is preparing for all of us. If rumors are to be believed at this very moment, we are to witness not just one but 4 Nokia-branded devices to be unveiled later this month. Those are the flagship Nokia P1, mid-rangers Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and the classic and iconic mobile phone Nokia 3310.

HMD Global, the Finnish company that got license to use Nokia brand on their future smartphone offerings, has officially confirmed that they will be part of the MWC 2017 and that they will hold event on February 26 in Barcelona, Spain for this special occasion.

Although available leaks and rumors about this Nokia 3310 is pretty scarce, further reports say that this will not be just a resurrection of the beloved Nokia model but also an upgrade is coming along with this particular unit. Meaning, it will be a fully functional feature phone with some modern additions to it. What's even crazier, according to the rumors, is that it will be priced just €59 or about Php3,125. Whether this is actually true or not, we will all find out on Feb 26.
