Watch: PayMaya Surprises LRT 2 Passengers on Valentine's Day

Voyager and PayMaya people were very busy on Valentine's Day as they spread the love by handing out roses and chocolates to the commuters at LRT 2. While the surprised passengers got their flowers and chocolates, a band in the background serenaded them with romantic songs perfectly fit for the Philippine Heart's Day.

During Valentine's Day, it is expected that commuting is kind of a hassle in the metro since many families and couples are out to celebrate the special day by either having a quick vacation, staycation or dine out. To help spread the love and ease a bit of the traffic-induced stress on this day, PayMaya offered this romantic treat.
"We know that commuting - especially on this day - can be a bit of a hassle. We're happy to share some joy through this simple treat for our customers." said Paolo Azzola, co-COO and Managing Director of PayMaya Philippines.

In addition to giving out those V-Day related items, PayMaya Philippines also gave these LRT passengers Beep-enabled PayMaya cards which is a perfect companion for daily commute through these establishment. They can also use the PayMaya card like a regular credit or debit card as it is powered by Visa, all they have to do is download the PayMaya app from Google Play or App Store and register with their mobile number. This enables them to make online transactions even without an actual credit card.

"Similar to Valentine's surprise, our service, PayMaya, aims to offer a delightful experience to our users. Before, consumers have to apply for a credit card in order to shop or pay for the services they love online. And now, they can easily do all these without having to go through the tiring and tedious process of getting a credit card," shared Sharon Kayanan, Marketing and Brand Head at PayMaya.
