OPPO F3 Plus Specs Leaked Ahead of Official Announcement

Right now, it is no secret already that OPPO is about to unleash its new series of Selfie Expert devices in a couple of weeks and at least one of those will sport dual-selfie camera. In fact media invites have already been sent since yesterday for their upcoming March 23 event here in the Philippines. This followed the incident where some Twitter and Facebook users, including myself,  have spotted ads from OPPO at malls showing off the unannounced F3 and F3 Plus smartphone.

Today, an exclusive photo on AndroidPure.com website was leaked and published showing the alleged specs for the upcoming F3 Plus device. You may check out the post and the photo here, but below are the said technical specifications for the yet-to-be-announced device.

OPPO F3 Plus specs:

  • 1920 x 1080 resolution
  • Corning Gorilla Glass 5
  • Octa-core MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon Processor

  • 64GB Internal storage
  • Supports microSD card up to 256GB
  • 16MP Rear Camera
  • 16MP + 8MP front camera

  • Dual-SIM
  • LTE
  • Gold, Black
  • 185 grams
  • 163.63 x 80.8 x 7.35mm

Unfortunately, the leak did not include photo of the F3 Plus. But it's interesting to see that OPPO will offer this device in Black which is something we never saw in the recent selfie-centric devices from OPPO. And speaking of selfies, if this leak is to be believed, then the F3 Plus will be the first dual-front camera equipped smartphone from the Chinese company, 16MP + 8MP. Oppo, on the other hand, has already confirmed dual-selfie camera feature when the invite for the Philippine media was sent but no one knows yet if that's going to be the case for both phones. Though the 16MP+8MP combination is a bit lesser than Vivo V5 Plus' 20MP+8MP, we still have wait for the official announcement from OPPO to confirm that.

Based on this leaked information, so far the F3 Plus sounds interesting especially of course its dual selfie camera setting. I am kind of hoping that its actually not 16MP+8MP but higher, and that it is in real life powered by Android Nougat and not Marshmallow. And most of all, I am hoping that OPPO will aggressively price this device too to assure victory over competition offering the same technology. Right now the Vivo V5 Plus is priced at Php19,990.
