Super Mario Run Finally Coming to Android on March 23

True to their promise a couple of months ago, Nintendo has just officially announced today that their latest mobile game Super Mario Run is now finally coming to Android users around the world. The Japanese gaming giant said that the game will be released beginning March 23, 2017, that's next week. This was revealed via the company's Twitter account for America.

In addition to the release date announcement, Nintendo also mentioned that the Version 2.0.0 update will be rolled out too on this same date which means that there will be new playable characters to be added to the game. Plus the update will enable players to unlock Stages 1-4 in the free version.

Now we don't know if the business model for Android version of the game will remain the same, but for iOS users they can download the game from the App Store for free and play the first few levels for free as well. Should they want to get the full version, they will need to shell out $9.99 as one-time fee for it.
