ASUS Republic of Gamers Launches the Slimmest ROG Zephyrus Gaming Laptop


There is a new gaming notebook in town released by ASUS Republic of Gamers which touts to be the world's thinnest gaming laptop to date powered by NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and 7th-gen Intel i7 processors, meet the latest ROG Zephyrus.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus features the Windows 10 Creators Update, which improves the performance of PC games via the all-new Windows Game Mode, and makes it easier to perform native game-streaming with Beam, Microsoft's streaming service.

The 15.6-inch Zephyrus features an ultra-slim profile and incorporates the ROG-exclusive Active Aerodynamic System (AAS) which is a specially designed cooling system. It also sports customizable ASUS Aura RGB lighting effects and superfast 120Hz panel with wide-view technology, 100 percent sRGB color gamut and NVIDIA G-SYNC for breathtaking gaming visuals.

The ROG Zephyrus gaming laptop is ASUS' latest creation out of its aim to make notebooks that are slimmer, cooler, quieter, and more powerful than ever before fully addressing the needs of most gamers today. It has a blade-inspired design resulting in an ultraslim and sleek profile that tapers gaming laptop powered by the 7th generation Intel Cor i7 Kaby Lake processor and the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics.

Thanks to its exclusive Active Aerodynamic System, the ROG Zephyrus is cooled and it able to perform more quiet without compromising performance. When the laptop is opened a portion of of the bottom of the chassis flexes to increase the airflow volume by 20% and further increase air circulation.


It also features a keyboard located at the front of the chassis - a design that allows better cooling of internal components while providing a more comfortable and familiar experience for gamers accustomed to desktop keyboards. Plus ASUS ROG incorporates Aura RGB lighting that enables users to fully customize lighting effects across the entire keyboard depending on their mood and personalities, they can also select from the pre-set effects in the settings.

Last but not least, is the NVIDIA G-Sync display technology. This synchronizes the display's refresh rate with the NVIDIA GeForce graphics card's frame rate to ensure ultrasmooth visual. G-Sync reduces lag, minimizes perceived stutter, and eliminates visual tearing.
