Watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi Behind the Scenes Reel Here

Fresh from this year's Disney's D23 Expo in California USA, director Rian Johnson released a thrilling behind-the-scenes reel for the upcoming and eagerly-awaited Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie. And as expected, the reel is epicly and dramatically done giving us glimpses of what to expect from this installment as well as those moments that took place off camera while filming the whole movie.

Familiar faces, especially from 2015's Star Wars: The Force Awakens, are seen in this clip. New aliens and possibly new places around the galaxy are to be featured in The Last Jedi. And yes of course, there is the late Carrie Fisher also known as General Leia. Watch it below.

Disney's D23 Expo is the company's own convention which is held annually to celebrate its fans, films, and the fandom surrounding all Disney-owned entertainment studios such as Lucasfilm.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is to be released this coming December. Director Rian Johnson commented that fans might find some aspects of the movie "shocking", what he meant by that is to be seen when the movie comes out later this year.
