iWant TV launches first original series titled Umbra: Anino sa Dilim

In terms of original series and contents provided by internet streaming service providers, Netflix is the most successful of all. In fact if I remember it right, only Netflix made the first step in doing so and as of the moment we don't see any sign of slowing down. And then right now it appears that more and more companies under the same industry are also going to follow the same path. Just a couple of months ago, iFlix also revealed their plan to also create their own original contents for its subscribers across Southeast Asia and Africa. Today, our very own iWant TV has just joined the craze.

ABS CBN's streaming platform iWant TV, which first debuted in the Philippine digital sphere like 10 years ago, has just launched its very first original series titled Umbra: Anino sa Dilim.

Umbra: Anino sa Dilim is an animated horror series that focuses on re-telling the Philippines' supernatural lore and modern urban legends. This will give us another look and probably additional information about the stories and its characters that scared the hell out of our childhood.

The first episode fro Umbra has been unleashed on Tuesdays and future episodes will be released exclusively on iWant TV platform every Tuesday.

Also, a mobile application based on this animated series will be released soon that will give fans of the show the opportunity to "experience" the series through augmented reality technology.
