Korean Star Gong Yoo is the new face of ASUS ZenFone 4 Series

After a couple of teasers last week, ASUS has finally and officially revealed its new product ambassador for the upcoming ZenFone 4 series in the Asia Pacific region. As many of the Pinoy followers and fans have accurately guessed through the teasers posted on ASUS' social media pages, it is none other than the popular Korean actor Gong Yoo.

The formal announcement was officially done by ASUS through their Facebook page a couple of hours ago. In case you still have no idea who this actor is, he is popularly known as the main actor in last year's zombie hit movie "Train to Busan" and and the Korean drama series such as "The Coffee Prince, "Goblin", and many others.

And while ASUS Philippines has confirmed ZenFone 4 announcement to happen on August 19 at SMX Convention Center in Pasay, the caption accompanied by the Gong Yoo announcement also said a Global Press Conference will happen in Taiwan on August 17 where Gong Yoo will appear.

Interestingly in the released photo of Gong Yoo above, he is also shown holding a brand new smartphone showing the back panel clearly sporting dual rear camera. This could definitely be the base ZenFone 4 model and is a different ZenFone 4 unit from what has recently been spotted in Italy.

The photos that leaked online through an Italian website called DDay.it, the dual camera-bearing smartphone shown there comes with a "2x Zoom" moniker sitting right between the two rear cameras and this device is allegedly called ZenFone 4 Pro.
