Samsung Galaxy J7+ with Dual Rear Camera Leaked in Thailand

Almost immediately after Samsung officially launched its most anticipated and talked about Galaxy Note 8 phablet which now sports dual back camera (a first in a Samsung-made smartphone), a brand new leak coming from Thailand showing another dual camera-equipped smartphone is about to be unleashed.

The report first came out through a Thai website called ThaiMobileCenter, showing a couple of what appears to be promotional photos of the yet-to-be announced Samsung Galaxy J7+. The photos show the device in its full glory wielding a dual camera set up on its back. Reports claim that this Galaxy J7+ will have 13MP primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture while its secondary shooter will have a smaller 5MP shooter and an f/1.9 aperture lens. The front is going be with 16MP camera.

In addition to the camera, the said device is also claimed to have a standard 5.5-inch display with Full HD Super AMOLED resolution. Being a phone that sits alongside Galaxy J series, it is a mid-range type of smartphone, so expect there no edge-to-edge or Infinity Display found on this device.

Samsung Galaxy J7+ specs:
  • 5.5-inch Full HD display
  • 1920 x 1080 resolution
  •  2.4GHz octa-core processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 32GB internal storage
  • 13MP+5MP dual rear cameras with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture lenses, respectively
  • 16MP front camera
  • Supports microSD card
  • WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS
  • Android 7.1.1. Nougat
  • Bixby
  • 3000mAh battery
The Samsung Galaxy J7+ is expected to be launched in Thailand soon in Black, Gold, and Pink color options. Availability and official pricing not mentioned. Hopefully, this one will also reach the Philippine market shortly after reveal. I am pretty sure a lot of Samsung fans in the country are also waiting a dual-camera midrange smartphone from the company, especially after the official launch of Note 8.
