Smart Bro LTE Home WiFi launched with free 10GB data

A few days ago Smart Communications Inc released a new variant of its Pocket LTE device called the Smart Bro LTE 2-in-1 Pocket WiFi. What's unique about this particular pocket wifi is it doubles as a powerbank with its massive 5000mAh capacity. Today, another device has just been launched by Smart that caters to another segment of data consuming users - family at home. This new product is called Smart Bro LTE Home WiFi.

As the name indicates, the Smart Bro LTE Home WiFi supports LTE connectivity that can provide up to 42mbps download speed. It is also worth noting that this model is 700MHz frequency-ready unit, which means the in-door signal coverage is far better than normal routers and pocket WiFi's around. Plus, family members can connect up to 10 devices at once.

The Smart Bro LTE Home WiFi is offered both on prepaid and postpaid kits. For prepaid, users can buy the device for only Php1,995 and it comes with free 10GB data valid for 7 days. For postpaid, it can be had for as low as Plan 499 with a one-time case out fee of Php2,000. This Plan 499 comes with 6GB monthly data allocation and then free 30-day access to iFlix, and free 10GB data good for 30 days upon activation (also offered in other postpaid plans). It is just a plug and surf type of device so there is no installation and fees required apart from the prepaid and postpaid pricing stated below.
