Uber is Now Back in Business

After paying LTFRB a staggering Php190 million fine and complying with some other requirements posted by the regulatory board, Uber Philippines is now officially back in business and will be hitting roads "in the coming days".
Uber also made the announcement through their Facebook page a couple of hours ago confirming that LTFRB has lifted the suspension on their operations.

In addition to paying suspension fine, Uber also paid its partner drivers for the days the service was suspended, as required by LTFRB, a total amount of Php299 million.  As of today, Uber has more than 66,000 registered drivers.
