Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are the newest Vivo V7+ Brand Ambassadors

On September 20th, Vivo Philippines officially launched its new selfie centric smartphone offering in the Philippines called the Vivo V7+ sporting a staggering 24MP front facing camera at a special and glamorous event at Marriott Grand Ballroom. Alongside the local launch of this device sporting edge-to-edge 18:9 aspect ratio display, the company also unveiled its latest addition to its ever-growing list of brand ambassadors - KathNiel.

The much-adored love team of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo were introduced to the launch guests at the ballroom, aboard top-down luxury cars to the delight and excitement of the crowd. Vivo Philippines seems to have just made a great move including KathNiel to its roster of endorsers as this love team has one of the biggest and most engaged followers in the Philippine entertainment industry. It will definitely help them climb up even higher as the leading smartphone brand locally.

The Vivo V7+

The Vivo V7+ is the Chinese company's most cutting-edge flagship smartphone to date. It is jampacked with the some of the most advanced smartphone features but at a fraction of the cost of other high-powered devices from the competitions.

This handset boasts a 24MP front facing camera, promising you to provide clearer selfie photos and videos. Vivo claims it is the world's first with LED flash and smart photography algorithms which provide clear-cut, crisp, and natural looking photos. Aside from the 24-megapixel shooter, is a 16MP rear camera capable of taking bokeh portraits; the photo background comes out dramatically blurred to add focus to the subject.

But this is not everything the the V7+ prides itself with. It also rocks a revolutionary 5.99-inch all-screen display with a 84.4% screen-to-body ratio, providing a more exciting and enhanced game and virtual experience. If there is one a bit disappointing feature in this device, that would be its 720p display. For users who have tried Full HD and up resolutions on a smartphone, this particular part of the device might not that be of a good news for them. I really cannot say if it is that bad or not for a device with this huge display until I see the phone itself in the flesh. This V7+ also has this Smart Split 3.0 feature that allows users to check their messages, mails, among other things without interrupting the current running app - perfect for smartphone users on the go.

The Vivo V7+ has a dual-SIM functionality and it is running on the company's latest Funtouch OS 3.2 which is based on Google's Android 7.1 Nougat mobile operating system. Moreover, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and a default 64GB internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB. The security feature is also augmented with its Face ID access feature that allows one to unlock the phone with mere facial recognition technology, that's in addition to the Fingerprint Scanner on the rear. An eye-protection mode is also an option, a facet providing comfort during long periods of device usage. See more specs below.
