I Tried Lord of the Ribs in Davao and It's...

And it's epic as the name suggests! If you are looking for best places to eat in Davao City, this mini-yet Instagram-worthy restaurant called Lord of the Ribs should be one on top of your list.

I and my officemates have always been trying to look for new restos within the city that we can visit together at least once a week, and this was the latest one we went to as we were curious to know how their dishes taste. We have read a couple of blogs and reviews and most of them seemed to be praising this newest kainan in town. And hey, I think, Lord of the Ribs has one of the most affordable yet epicly delicious ribs and other menu in town. Take a quick look below at their offerings.

As much I would really like to try every single one in the menu, my budget was very unsupporting at the time, so I guess I will be just coming back for the rest. But of course I did waste this opportunity to right away try their what seems to be the flagship menu - the Rak of Ribs priced at Php270.

This Rak of Ribs as you can see in the menu above, comes with a 500g serving of ribs with barbecue sauce all over it, curry rice, and white sauce.

My two other teammates also ordered another one of these, Peri Peri Chicken (Php140), and one order of the Potato Shells (Php120). The moment everything was served on our table, I though my order would not be enough for me, but boy I was wrong, I was satisfyingly full when we came out of the place. Thanks to the Potato Shells that we all shared along with our respective meals of the day, we were happy customers. And we promised, we will definitely return... for the ribs!

One more thing, it's not in the menu pictured above but they also serve San Mig Lite. I saw it there. If it were not lunch time, I would definitely have grabbed one or two bottles to have the meal we had a good wash down. Perhaps when we come back.

The Lord of the Ribs actually originated from Cebu according to a post from The Angliongtos, fellow Davao Bloggers Society members. And it was only officially opened in May of this year.

The restaurant is located at Bricklane, Guzman Street, Obrero Davao City. They are open from Mondays to Sundays at 11AM - 2PM and then from 4PM to 10PM. You can follow them on their Facebook page here for more and future updates.
