Here's Another Good Look at the OnePlus 5T

Thanks to notorious tipster Evan Blass aka @evleaks on Twitter as he just posted an alleged press render of the upcoming OnePlus 5T smartphone earlier today. This new device is rumored to hit the international market this November and will definitely success the OnePlus 5 which was launched last June. Although nothing has been confirmed by the Chinese smartphone maker yet, this new leak makes it now more clear that this phone is inevitably coming before the year ends.

However, while we have not heard anything yet from OnePlus about this phone that has been making the rounds in the rumor mill for a time now, Evan Blass has proven most of his leaks to be precise and accurate down to the smallest detail. This means that it is now just a matter of confirmation from the OnePlus company.

From what the image is showing above, it appears that the OnePlus 5T will now have the 18:9 aspect ratio feature for its display with extremely thin bezels from all sides. This is reported to be a 6-inch display with Full HD+ or 2160 x 1080 resolution across the display panel. The same configuration we see from the likes of Huawei Nova 2i and OPPO F5.

While the Nova 2i and F5 are competing in the midrange arena, the 5T will go head to head with flagship heavyweights in terms of its internals, just like the previous iterations, but with a much much more affordable asking price right out of the box. See list of rumored specs below.

OnePlus 5T rumored specs:
  • 6-inch Full HD+ Display
  • 18:9 Aspect Ratio
  • 2160 x 1080 resolution
  • Snapdragon 835 processor
  • Adreno 540 GPU
  • 8GB RAM
  • 20MP rear camera
  • 20MP front camera
Reports are claiming that the OnePlus 5T will be announced on November 16, 2017.
