Loading PayMaya Account Through 7-Eleven is Now Made Even Easier

People over at Voyager Innovations are always busy making its Paymaya service more and more convenient to use by its users around the country. Since Paymaya's official launch in the country a couple of years back, the service has been updated and improved so many times with so many features catering to users' daily financial-related needs such as buying mobile prepaid loads, paying bills, sending and receiving money (which can now also be done via Facebook Messenger app), and most of all making online transactions even without a credit card. Today, I noticed a brand new update on the Paymaya app which I think is really going to help us a lot and making adding funds to the service even easier.

Actually there are a good number of ways to add funds to a Paymaya account. Users like me can do it through Robinson's and SM Mall's business centers within their respective shopping malls, through online banking with Unionbank and BDO, Smart Padala Centers, 7-11 and many others.

I don't know about you, but here in Davao, the most convenient way for me to load up my Paymaya account is through Cliqq kiosks at 7-Eleven stores. We have a lot of 7-Eleven stores scattered across the city and almost all of them has this little self service kiosk that allows us to buy loads and pay bills. While this particular 7-Eleven service is pretty convenient and easy to use, it is not 100% up and online. I have encountered this issue being offline for so many instances now.

Maybe Paymaya is aware of that, I really don't know, but the most recent update on the Paymaya app is somehow related to adding funds to this service through 7-Eleven shops. We can now do most of the loading steps inside the application. We simply select 7-Eleven, enter the amount, and wait for the barcode to be generated. Once the barcode is ready and up on the mobile phone's screen, show it to the 7-Eleven staff and let them scan it to send you the load. And that's it! Simply as that. See screenshots below for quick reference.

1. Select "Add Money" option from Paymaya app's homespage.

2. Choose "7-Eleven" on the next page.

3. Key in your desired load amount (minimum of Php100) and press "Continue" button below the screen.

4. Wait for the barcode to generate. Once up as shown in the image above, show it to the 7-Eleven staff to scan and complete the loading process.

If you still don't see this functionality in your Paymaya app, make sure you update to the latest version.
