Nokia 2 Now Officially Announced with Massive 4100mAh Battery


After leaks and rumors have spread the internet about this new device in the last couple of days, HMD Global has finally unveiled its new budget-friendly smartphone offering called the Nokia 2.This device is an entry-level phone from the latest series of Nokia-branded smartphones that HMD Global has released since getting the license to use the brand.

One of the highlights of the Nokia 2 is its massive 4100mAh battery capacity which the company is promising to last up to two days on a single charge.

As an entry level smartphone offering, the Nokia 2 is powered by a humble Snapdragon 212 processor from Qualcomm and is paired with a 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage right out of the box. The display is pegged at 5 inches with 720p resolution. protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass on top.

On the inside, this handset is running Android 7.1 Nougat, but the company has confirmed that an Android Oreo update will definitely arrive in the near future. There is also the Google Assistant available with this phone, a first in an entry level device, HMD Global claimed.

For taking photos and videos, users will get to enjoy its 8MP rear mounted shooter and a 5MP front facing camera.
