McDonald's Now Accepts PayMaya as Mode of Payment for Your Favorite Meal

Starting today, you can now pay for your favorite McDonald's meals such as the Big Mac, Chicken McDo, McSpaghetti, Happy Meals and more using your PayMaya account. That is because PayMaya and McDonald's Philippines have just teamed up for this specific collaboration that will greatly benefit the Pinoy McDo lovers and PayMaya users.

At the partnership launch that took place a couple of days ago, PayMaya Philippines President and Chief Executive Officer Orlando Vea confirmed that about 42 McDonald's branches around the Philippines are now accepting this cashless payment system for all types of Mastercard and Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cards including PayMaya Visa cards and the Smart Mastercard.

And then in the coming weeks, the PayMaya QR code payment solution will also be available at the McCafe BGC Arts Theater in Taguig City and at McCafe Tagaytay Calamba stores. This will allow PayMaya users to pay for their orders by simply scanning the QR codes at these stores using their smartphones.

"This is digital technology at its most convenient, and we are working toward enabling more partners like McDonald's to further build a cashless ecosystem all around the country," said Manuel V. Pangilinan, Chairman at PLDT Inc, Smart Communications Inc. and PayMaya Philippines. "We're starting with McDonald's today, but we envision a future where most of our transactions will be carried out with the help of a PayMaya account," he added.
