OPPO F5 Youth Gets a Price Cut

OPPO Philippines is kicking off the year 2018 with a bang as one of its latest handsets just got a price cut! The A.I Beauty Recognition Technology-equipped smartphone called F5 Youth can now be had for only Php12,990. That's from its original price tag of Php13,990 when it was launched locally a couple of months ago.

With an OPPO F5 smartphone matching our customers' needs, we believe our lineup is now more appealing to the market," said Eason de Guzman, OPPO Philippines' Public Relations Manager.

The OPPO F5 series now has a more competitive lineup: the F5 Youth at Php12,990, the OPPO F5 at Php15,990, and the OPPO F5 6GB Red at Php21,990. All smartphones feature OPPO's A.I. Beauty Technology, known for its unique approach of delivering natural looking selfies. It can analyze the face of a subject with more than 200 recognition spots and determine the age, gender, skin type, and skin tone. This produces a customized selfie experience with effortless editing.

Like its siblings, the F5 Youth still has the same 6-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and full HD+ resolution which promises to provide a more immersive viewing experience than a traditional 16:9 smartphone. Powering this phone is an octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD. And, of course, the cameras. On the back is a main 13MP shooter paired with a 16MP selfie camera housing the A.I. Beauty tech.
