40 Vivo Mascots Invade the SM Mall of Asia Grand Mascot Parade on New Year

Every year, SM Mall of Asia is holding a Grand Mascot Parade not just to entertain its visitors and kids of all ages but to also celebrate the New Year with festivities and entertainment. This year of 2018 is no exception to that, the shopping mall giant held its 9th Mall of Asia Grand Mascot Parade on January 1.

To welcome the new year, Vivo, one of the biggest brands and names in the country, joined in on the festivities in the grandest way possible. Vivo had their very own mascots - forty of them - march in the Grand Mascot Parade, to the delight of the spectators. The great assemblage of Vivo mascots is representative of the scale of success the brand grained in the past year. Vivo also distributed a total of 1,000 balloons to the crowds gathered during the parade.

Vivo was the fifth largest brands globally in the third quarter of 2017, capturing market share of 1.7%. Out of top five, Vivo observed the highest year-over-year growth of 32% in global shipment. In the Philippines, Vivo found its place among the Top 3 best phone brand which the Filipinos patronize, capturing market share of 11%.
