Some of the New Shows and Movies I Noticed on iFlix Recently

In the past few weeks, I was not able fire up my iFlix app on my smartphone due to being so busy at work and on the blog as well as on finishing the newly-released Altered Carbon series on Netflix. So after getting extra time the other night, I finally took the opportunity to launch iFlix and see what's new in there, if any. And I am happy to find out that there are quite a lot actually, and most of them are the good ones that I really like.

So in this post, I am going to list some of the new titles I think are new additions on iFlix since I last time checked the streaming service, at least. To give you a little bit of perspective, it was about a month ago since I last logged in on my iFlix account, so if you are checking your iFlix more than I am then you might find some of the listings not-that-new.

Godzilla (2014)
300: Rise of an Empire
Pacific Rim
Edge of Tomorrow
LEGO Movie
Journey 2: The Mysterious Island
Jack the Giant Slayer
Smallville (TV Series)
Nikita (TV Series)
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011 Starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law)
Man of Steel
The Notebook
Britannia (TV Series)
Avatar (Animated series)
A Man and A Woman (Korean movie, 2016)

There are other new content that just got added to iFlix's library. But the ones I listed above are now definitely on my watch list which I plan to watch and re-watch as soon as possible.

300: Rise of an Empire, though not as great as its predecessor, 300, it was one of my most anticipated movie sequels in 2014. I am still going to watch this one again and re-live the world of Spartans and Athenians facing largest army the world has ever seen. Sadly, the first 300 movie is no longer on iFlix but is on Netflix. hehe.

Pacific Rim would be next in line, not only because Director Guillermo del Toro did a great job in creating this masterpiece a couple of years back, but also because a sequel titled Pacific Rim Uprising (trailer) is all set to hit cinemas this March starring John Boyega (Finn, Star Wars The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi).

Godzilla, I also enjoyed watching this on the big screen in 2014 but sadly I have never seen it again since then. And now that it has reached iFlix, this will for sure be watched again by myself with the family.

If you have not tried iFlix yet, they still offer one month free trial. Regular monthly fee is still at Php129. You can download the app from Google Play and App Store or visit their website at
