OPPO F7 is Coming to the Philippines Next Month

Another Android device with a notch on its screen is also making its way to the Philippine market next month. That device will be officially called OPPO F7. And based on what the teaser image in this post is showing, we can expect that this device to sport extremely thin bezels from all of its four corners and a very narrow notch. OPPO Philippines teases this phone's arrival to be in April or next month.

OPPO so far has confirmed that this device will pack 6.23-inch Super Full screen display with Full HD+ resolution achieving an astonishing 89.09% screen-to-body ratio. Despite its larger screen, OPPO said it will still carry a footprint of a typical 5.5-inch smartphone.

The Chinese smartphone maker also mentioned the exact pixel arrangement on this one, and it's 2280 x 1080 resolution, which is a little odd than the usual 18:9 aspect ratio's resolution that is usually at 2160 x 1080. That being said, this phone could sport an also-odd 19:9 aspect ratio display screen, and I think the notch is to blame. It is not a bad thing though, for sure, as users will get bigger screen and more pixels for a much more immersive viewing experience being it gaming, watching movies/TV series or simply browsing.

"This April will surely be a big month for OPPO, and we encourage everyone to stay tuned as we  reveal more details of the OPPO F7 and its innovative features soon," said Eason de Guzman, OPPO Philippines Public Relations Manager.

More than just bigger screen, OPPO mentioned that the F7 will feature an "innovative multitasking gesture" to quickly do responses in social media messaging apps, screenshots, or even screen recording. Using this method, OPPO claims it will maximize the opportunity for the notch and give more value to customers.  Whatever that is, we will all know once this handset goes official. So stay tuned.
