Fortnite Battle Royale is Finally Coming to Android Platform

In March of this year, iOS users around the globe were able to start playing Fortnite Battle Royale game on their devices. During the initial mobile platform release for Apple-made devices, it was also announced that an Android version was already on its way but no definite date on its arrival. That changes today, as Epic Games has unveiled that they target the Fornite Android release this summer.

This announcement was made by Epic Games itself through their official blog site.

It says "Fortnite is coming to Android! We are targeting this summer for the release. We know many of you are excited for this release, and we promise that when we have more information to share, you'll hear it from us first."

While the announcement may sound not so sure, at least as of the moment, let's still hope that Epic Game will be able to release the Android version we have been waiting for this summer (between June and August) as early as possible.

In addition to the latest update on the Android side of this game, the developer also gave us updates on other things they are currently working on such as the capability to customize HUD which has just been released, make sure your Fortnite game is up to date to try this out. Voice Chat is also coming to the mobile platform. Epic Games says once this is rolled out, players will be able to chat with their teammates across all platforms and not just in mobile. On top of that, players will also have the ability to mute themselves or everyone else on the game and/or get back to communications with just a single tap.

Gameplay and control improvements are some other things Epic Games talked about on their latest post. Autorun and "better ways to fire", once rolled out will be added to the settings for users to try. File size for the updates and better graphics as well as improvements on battery consumption are also on the working table to be enhanced soon. You can click the link above to learn more.

And oh, for a limited time, players can be the infinity gauntlet-wielding Mad Titan Thanos in the game. Read more here.

Besides iOS, Fortnite: Battle Royale has also been available with other platforms like PC, Mac, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
